ESI Funds for Health project at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2018
The ESI Funds for Health project will be presented during the high-level event “Global Challenges, Territorial Answers: the Future of Health in Europe” on 9 October 2018 within the context of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2018.
"Under the headline 'For a strong EU Cohesion Policy beyond 2020', this year’s over 170 workshops, sessions and debates will revolve around key topics such as the Cohesion Policy and the important role played by regional and local authorities in its implementation, the ongoing discussions about the post-2020 EU budget, and the importance of building strong partnerships between the EU institutions and the subnational level for good European governance."
The event has been organised by EUREGHA is collaboration with the European Committee of the Regions’ Interregional Group on Health and Well-being.
Jennifer McGuinn, who is the Policy Director at Milieu Ltd and the Project Director for the ESI Funds for Health project, will be discussing key insights from the project and the role of the health sector as a key driver for EU Cohesion Policy within a panel composed of different stakeholders.
